Regen Foundation
Director of Development
Description
Are you enlivened and adept at fundraising for eco-social non-profits from the cryptocurrency community? Are you passionate about the intersection of decentralized networks, rights of nature, indigenous sovereignty, commoning, and ecological markets? We’d love to have you join our team at Regen Foundation!
Background
Regen Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity incorporated in 2018. Public charities are required to receive at least 33% of their receipts from unrestricted “less than 2% donors” (as the non-profit tax code puts it). Due to our income-generating crypto asset portfolio, we’re estimating that we need to raise roughly $1mm from less than 2% donors. If you fail in achieving this goal, Regen Foundation will transition to a private foundation during 2022. This transition wouldn’t compromise the core of our work, but retaining public charity status will allow us to engage in a much broader swath of activities in support of our community, and for that reason, we’d like to take a shot at it!
