Who are we looking for?


We are looking to hire a technical sales specialist (B2B) with excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills. This person will work with Business Development teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, convert prospects to customers and will also be responsible for giving technical product demos to potential B2B customers. This person will work closely with the business development and product teams.


Roles & Responsibilities


You will:



  • Provide technical product demos to potential customers in the pipeline.

  • Work hand in hand with the sales team to introduce Venly’s product suite and help prospective customers and partners to understand Venly’s products & services.

  • Partner with our sales team to successfully deliver Venly’s solutions to B2B customers and assist the SaaS sales team by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers.

  • Prepare and deliver product messaging to highlight Venly’s value proposition through whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstration, proof of concept management, and RFP response documents.

  • Provide technical advice to the sales force to solve product or service requests regarding engineering or technical issues.

  • Work with business development team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and convert prospects to customers.

  • Work independently with prospects/customers technical teams on technical scoping. During the process of scoping, you may be involved in complex workflow analysis and in-depth examination of the interaction between Venly products and the customer’s infrastructure.

  • Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.

  • Provide documentation on product specifications and usage to the sales team.

  • Provide technical mentorship and training for new hires and peers.

  • Evangelize Venly and interact with B2B customers on a daily basis

  • Develop and maintain playbook, delivery strategy and best practices.

  • Be the technical/product expert within the broader sales team.


Qualifications



  • A degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related field is a plus.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience working in technical sales or sales engineer role actively serving B2B customers, ideally in a tech/SaaS company.

  • Entrepreneurial in spirit with solid organizational skills and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders as well as end customers.

  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to provide solution based selling to customers.

  • Strong project management and time-management skills.

  • General understanding of the blockchain & NFT space.

  • Experience in crypto industry is a strong plus.
