As the first L2 to leverage Optimum architecture with a proprietary stack, LightLink aims to support 10,000+ TPS at under $0.01, without gas spikes.


We have just concluded our TGE and are now looking for a BD to help us build a Web3 business development function from scratch across all verticals and scale it once we demonstrate tangible results in terms of TVL, number of transactions, and other metrics.


BD reports to the Growth Lead and works closely with the CEO and Ecosystem Lead.


Responsibilities



  • Bootstrap BD/Web3 partnerships function from scratch across multiple verticals, including gaming, DeFi, NFT, AI, etc.

    • Design Web3 partnerships strategy and plan per target verticals

    • Build and manage CRM

    • Create outreach and other BD templates

    • Develop BD collateral like blurbs, pitch decks, one-pagers, etc.



  • Own the BD function at all stages:

    • Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with Web3 companies.

    • Hand over partners to marketing.

    • Ensure partner satisfaction with marketing campaigns and extract additional value post-integration.



  • Collaborate with growth and ecosystem functions to boost ecosystem growth programs, such as referral, liquidity, and other programs.

  • Partner with marketing to prepare case studies and other BD collateral.


To perform these responsibilities, you will need to partner with leadership, ecosystem, foundation, and growth/marketing functions.


Requirements



  • Minimum of 5 years of Web3 BD or growth experience in a startup environment.

  • Proven track record of planning and executing BD strategies in at least one vertical.

  • Strong pipeline of warm Web3 accounts in at least one vertical.

Hiring process

  • Assignment: You’ll be asked to prepare a one-page Web3 partnership strategy for one of our verticals. We don’t expect you to spend more than several hours on it.

    • COO

    • CEO
