The Boid Universe is an innovative new take on the Play-to-Earn model. It drives players and incentivizes them to put forth their spare computing power helping to solve some of the world’s greatest diseases, including Cancer, while being significantly rewarded for their time in-game. BOINC and the World Community Grid power the backbone of the Boid Universe. People around the world have been contributing to the World Community Grid using BOINC for over a decade. The Boid Universe seeks to expand the influence to exponentially grow the number of users helping with these social issues doing research calculations, and bringing scientists one step closer to discoveries that can save lives and address global problems.

Boid has already been functioning since August of 2018. Since then, Boid has been installed on 7,000+ machines and helped complete millions of jobs or “work units” for countless research projects, as seen below. These calculations are critical for advancing medical research and treatments and predicting rainfall which requires massive amounts of computing power to help farmers in places like Africa more successfully raise crops.

We’re looking for a UI/UX designer that would build Boid Universe site for us. It’s essential for that person to have experience with VUE/JS/TS and have great digital art skills.
