About Us

Babylon is a VC-backed blockchain project founded by Claude. E. Shannon Award recipient, Professor David Tse from Stanford University. The project’s mission is to bring Bitcoin’s unparalleled security to all PoS blockchains in the world. To this end, we are building, as the bridge between Bitcoin and the PoS world, a new public Cosmos-based PoS blockchain called Babylon with a native token. About the Job

You will be a senior engineer contributing to the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the Babylon chain. You will also collaborate with the research team in making critical design decisions.

About You

You are an experienced blockchain engineer with hands-on experience in the full blockchain development and deployment cycle, ideally with Tendermint and Cosmos SDK. You are passionate and ambitious about blockchain and want to make the maximum impact and get rewarded. You follow best practices in software development and have high work standards. You are open, responsible, and willing to help others.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, electrical engineering, or equivalent


• 3+ years of experience in blockchain layer-1 development


• Proficient in Golang


• Familiar with applying CI/CD pipeline and building test-net


• Good oral and written communication in English


• (Strongly preferred) development experience with Tendermint and Cosmos SDK, or a contributor to them


• (Preferred) experience in working with crypto exchanges
