The Role:
In order to accelerate growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic developer advocate who combines both solid technical expertise and understanding with impactful communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
- Promote the adoption of Fuse’s tech stack including its Ethereum-compatible blockchain, business tools & APIs and forkable mobile wallet technology.
- Inspire users and developers to engage and to build on top of the platform via content creation and curation (blog posts, platform data, community engagement content, etc.)
- Drive the adoption of Fuse’s technology by investigating emerging technologies, and creating content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, and simply provides information across a wide variety of digital platforms.
- Update and create technical documentation to facilitate developers including the translation of complex blockchain-related content into simple language.
- Identify and support the adoption of initiatives that will help the ecosystem grow including FIPs (Fuse Improvement Proposals) to be voted on by the network of dPOS validators.
- Bounty creation on platforms such as Gitcoin for the implementation of specific frameworks and technologies on Fuse Network.
- Organizing hackathons and workshops.
- Become embedded in the developer community to deeply understand developer concerns and needs.
- Help other developers by interacting on Discord, Stack Overflow, Twitter, GitHub, or places where developers come for help online
- Speaking at meetup groups, conferences, developer trainings, etc.
- Identify gaps that are needed to meet the needs of developers, and design creative solutions to meet these needs.
- Represent the developer community to the product and engineering teams, making sure that everything we build is easy to learn and sensible to use.
What we’re looking for:
- In-depth understanding of blockchain and decentralized technologies, particularly Ethereum and Ethereum-compatible platforms.
- Ability to present ideas in a clean, user-friendly way.
- Attention to detail.
- Fluency in written and verbal communication skills in English.
- You are a solid communicator with experience writing about, teaching, or speaking about complex technical topics.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Thrive on understanding the latest, cutting-edge blockchain technology.
- Passionate and excited about web3.
- 3-4 years of programming experience in at least one of: Java, JavaScript, or Go (Solidity would be a huge plus).
- Able to write top-quality code samples and mini applications to demonstrate the technologies you want to teach.
- Expertise in using Github.
- Demonstrable experience contributing to and advocating for open-source software communities (both code and documentation) or crypto projects.
- You can record screencasts and instructional videos of your talks and articles.
