Swash is here to help redistribute the profit generated by user data back to the people in a fair transparent way. For too long we have all given away our value as “consumers” and are now the product, we don’t feel this is right and that is where Swash comes in.


Having raised $19.1m, and onboarded over 200,000 users, we are looking for a Head of Marketing to join our amazing team and help Swash to reach an ever growing audience on a global scale.


This position is fully remote and you will be empowered with a high level of autonomy. We like to focus on results more than your methodology. That said, implementing processes that are highly scalable, as we will be growing the marketing team with your guidance, is important.


Yes, we are a start up, but we have lofty goals and backing from some of the best investors and advisors in the industry including; Outlier Ventures, Ocean Protocol and others. We want to be synonymous with fair revenue sharing of data revenue, and you will be a key team member helping us get there.


We don’t have a list of “key skills” for this role, per se, but experience in marketing to both traditional and crypto audiences is essential. You should be an expert in this field and know Web3 and crypto like the back of your hand. “Proven track record” and “out of the box thinking” are some of the buzz phrases we have thrown around internally, but the reality is we need the right person who can grow our reach beyond our wildest dreams and join us on this exciting journey ahead!

General responsibilities



  • Set overall marketing strategy and oversee implementation

  • Establish marketing processes

  • Set, monitor and support marketing team goals

  • Manage marketing stakeholders

  • Improve brand awareness and market positioning

  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share

  • Keep the project up to date with the latest marketing trends

  • Develop thought leadership pieces

  • Supervise community, events, content, KOL marketing, growth hacking, partnerships
