The role:


We are hiring a Technical Writer who is ready to join a rapidly growing and innovative organization. You are a good match for this role if you have a keen interest in decentralized technology platforms, and are able to write in detail about blockchain and open source technologies, zero knowledge concepts, decentralized finance (our customers), and our products - Ethereum Client, Juno, Voyager. You should have a basic understanding of EVM, Ethereum state, L1/L2, Execution and Consensus clients.


Responsibilities:



  • Oversee strategy, creation, and execution of thought leadership content on blockchain, open source technologies, and decentralized finance

  • Document new products, features, and APIs

  • Document standards, guidelines, and best practices for engineers

  • Organize documentation and make it easily discoverable

  • Maintain content quality through curation and content performance analysis

  • Ensure all business narratives and messages are in support of the content strategies

  • Engage with the crypto community and varying audiences on technical subjects (including Medium, Twitter, and Reddit)

  • Work closely with Engineering and Marketing teams

  • Use creativity, judgment, and attention to detail toward professional, technical, and operational problems


Requirements:



  • Technical writing experience

  • A strong command of the English language and an ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible prose

  • Ability to engage with the web3 and blockchain community and varying audiences on technical subjects

  • Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process

  • Experience in building and owning documentation with topic-based authoring

  • Experience using tools to create, manage and publish documentation, and experience with GitHub

  • Experience working directly with engineering teams on a product for a technical audience, such as DevOps, developers, or scientists

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Demonstrated people skills that contribute to an open and collaborative environment

  • Comfortable using Medium, Twitter, and Reddit


Nice to have:



  • Programming knowledge or experience is a plus

  • Experience creating automated documentation tools

  • Background in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Information Technology, Psychology, Business Administration, International Relations, Law, or any related field

  • Prior experience in a Communications role

  • Ability to collect, summarize, and analyze metrics to measure content performance and audience engagement

  • Existing contributions in the decentralized finance space
