Sophon is a visionary on-chain entertainment platform, on a mission to revolutionize the industry by seamlessly integrating blockchain technology into captivating experiences.


The role


We are searching for an Ops Associate, reporting to the COO, playing a key role in helping our organization go from 0 to 1. Your scope will include handling administrative duties, driving internal projects, facilitating cross-functional communication, and establishing key processes.


You are a self-starter and thrive on surveying the field, seeing where there is a need, and attacking what needs to be done.


Your responsibilities



  • Report directly to the executive team to support the overall business while balancing priorities, goals, and initiatives.

  • Create and manage internal projects and initiatives (e.g. onboarding guide, feedback/OKR planning).

  • Assist the BD and legal teams in the contracting process and finance with payment/token processing.

  • Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for meetings and events and to support decision-making.

  • Suggest and execute improvements to organizational structure and processes; find knowledge, communication and skills gaps and help address them.

  • Organize and attend key meetings, taking notes and ensuring follow-ups and action items are addressed promptly.

  • Assist in booking travel and event planning.


Skills we are looking for



  • 2+ years of relevant work experience, with examples of initiatives worked on.

  • Ability to work independently. multi-task, and influence team members across the org without direct authority.

  • Strong problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Notion.

  • Previous experience in web3 and early stage startups.
