As a Javascript Developer working on our Technical Analysis Math Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a full stack of functionality which computes derived data (indicators, candlestick formations, chart patterns) from time-scaled price data (e.g. Market Data). We can explain what we need, but we’d definitely love you having some kind of an expertise in the subject domain (or being ready to learn it in depth swiftly). This position implies working on both front-end and back-end. In most cases you’ll be working within existing frameworks (developed by us), so you will be able to focus on math and logic per se, without thinking too much about the plumbing.

Skill Level: Jr. to Midlevel. Must have either experience or knowledge of technical analysis principles or an interest to learn.

Technology Stack

  • Backend: Node.js. Responsibilities: implementing business logic within an existing framework.

  • Frontend: ES6+. Responsibilities: implementing certain “renderers” which in most cases generate SVG via HighCharts or create platform-specific things (like on-chart annotations). Note: We use ES6+ across the entire stack and thus you must be strong in this area and must be aware of typical performance caveats as some TA tools are intensive.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and continue to learn about technical analysis to identify formulas and methods necessary to generate proper technical analysis. You will have to be able to learn independently.

  • Implement the code for business logic on both backend and frontend

  • Cover your code with automated tests

  • Follow our ESLint rules

  • Write code which is easy to read and understand with proper documentation.

If this sounds like you, please apply. Be sure to check out our website to know more about the company and our quest for better technical analysis.
