Where do you fit in?


We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. You’ll have an opportunity to work across our Ethereum-based web3 stack on cutting-edge technology that reshapes the global financial system. As we are a young team, you’ll get the opportunity to design the infrastructure stack from top to bottom. If you’re new to the crypto and decentralized finance industry this is a great opportunity to learn in a hands-on way! This is a role that requires high trust and loyalty.


Responsibilities



  • Managing Continuous Integration pipelines

  • Designing and managing permissioning systems

  • Building out the release process for packages and dapps

  • Running regular on-chain actions on behalf of the foundation

  • Triaging and managing alerting and configuration for automated bots

  • Manually managing much of the above responsibilities and automating it over time to allow the organization to continuously expand the scope of these activities


Skills & Qualifications



  • 2+ years as a sysadmin, systems engineer, site reliability engineer, reliability engineer, or related role in a professional setting

  • Experience with Cloud Provider infrastructure

  • Experience with data, key storage, private information management best practices

  • Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Javascript

  • Experience using, configuring, and managing custom and open source software running on cloud infrastructure

  • Passion for automation and designing tech stacks

Compensation:



  • UMA’s pay packages include competitive salaries & substantial token options. Salaries range from $100-200K and your token allocation can grow with your voting rewards while you participate in the growing ecosystem.
