We not only have strong experience in investing but also building and managing businesses, which gives us a more comprehensive angle from which to evaluate investment opportunities.

Role

Nomad Capital is seeking to hire an Investment Research Analyst Intern for our crypto fund to work directly with the world-class founders we back. You will play an integral part in growing our new venture fund, be part of building our pipeline of new investments, participate in investment committee meetings, and establish a strong network with founders in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Draft internal investment memos summarizing key findings, investment thesis, and recommendations for the investment committee.


• Prepare and publish industry research reports highlighting key trends, opportunities, and risks within specific sectors.


• Proactively identifying new investment opportunities and qualifying inbound leads for the fund by meeting with founders.


• Helping the team evaluate new investment opportunities through market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, metrics analysis, customer/user reviews and technical diligence.


• Collaborating with the team to support the portfolio.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in crypto.


• A native understanding of blockchain technology with experience reviewing white papers or crypto projects.


• The ability to think analytically and strategically about investment decisions and ongoing work with existing portfolio companies.


• The ability to work well within a team and be self-guided on a day-to-day basis.


• Strong written and analytical skills for deal analysis and internal reporting.


• A demonstrated history of being proactive.


• A technical background or experience in data analytics/programming is a plus.


• An understanding of venture capital and crypto deal terms
