Frontend React Developer

Front End React Developer, Speakeasy

• Remote, permanently. (40% of the company is US-based; 60% is outside the U.S.)

The Elixxir Team from xx network is looking for a Front End React Developer for the newly-released Speakeasy product, a truly anonymous social communication platform. We are currently taking the public alpha launch of speakeasy to a full fledged product with the Beta release in Q1 2023.

You are an eager and experienced (3-5 years) React developer with established experience carrying projects through a full development lifecycle. You have extensive web development experience who can also maintain a project plan in coordination with executive leadership and ensure timelines are met. In this role, you will work closely with our backend engineers, designers, and QA testers to build out UIs and work on the next phases of development for processive dApps running on the new, decentralized xx network.

Speakeasy

Speakeasy is a censorship-proof and surveillance-free social discussion platform. It is currently in alpha but is already available to the public.

xx messenger

xx messenger is the first messenger supported by a truly global, decentralized network. The messenger offers a range of unprecedented privacy features.

xx network (Explorer, Wallet)

xx network is a blockchain platform that offers a fundamental breakthrough in decentralized technology, enabling performance and privacy on a global consumer scale. The goal is to take blockchain technology mainstream to support scalable, high-performing messaging, payment, defi and secure computing dApps that affirm and preserve a user’s right to digital sovereignty without compromising user experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Take on the mission of creating a global, first-class social platform.


• Guide decisions on technical plans, including architecture and technical strategy.


• Help the team to deliver quality products on time and with a user-first mentality.

• Stay current on industry trends and competing technologies and cross-apply knowledge to develop our web products.


• Coordinate and collaborate with teams to meet bi-weekly update goals during the Alpha phase and respond to user feedback.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in web development

• English fluency.
