Marketing Director (Remote)
The Marketing Director will be responsible for raising Bifinex’s profile as the Home of Digital Asset Trading and one of the oldest and best established crypto trading platforms, offering a full suite of assets and trading tools for retail, professional and institutional traders. He or she will also promote the marketing and positioning of Bitfinex Securities, Bitfinex Pay and its partnerships with other providers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a strategic Marketing agenda that fully supports Bitfinex’s key business priorities and initiatives.
He or she will also be responsible for crafting the strategies and leading the implementation of all marketing channels, including Digital, Advertising, Content, Communications, Events and Creatives.
The successful candidate will also have a strong measurement and metrics mindset. He or she will drive a performance marketing-driven agenda, with a constant focus on optimisation and continuous improvement.
We seek to hire a senior Marketing professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in either crypto, financial services, banking, fintech, retail or technology. The successful candidate will have both in-house and agency experience, as well as experience leading teams, managing integrated marketing communications programs, and hands-on experience managing marketing in an industry where regulation is evolving. We are looking for a professional who is an outstanding communicator, creative thinker, has a digital-first mindset, is experienced in advising C-level executives and understands how to operate within a high performing team.
You will be responsible for allocating resources to different projects and setting short-term and long-term departmental goals.
We are looking for a skilled Marketing strategist and a leader who inspires his team and the people around him. You will run the Marketing department in ways that promote higher profitability and competitiveness.
Job description
- Lead Bitfinex’s Marketing globally. Raise Bitfinex’s profile as a leader and innovator in crypto and blockchain. Keep pace with fast moving developments and advise and execute Bitfinex positioning to ensure the brand remains part of the conversation.
- Develop a global Marketing strategy that is designed to support our business objectives
- Preparing and managing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and targets for the Marketing Department
- Manage the content marketing and social media strategists to enhance and maintain the company’s social media presence
- Partner with Communications, Token Sales, Business Development and other external-facing parts of the business, to ensure coordination and timely execution of marketing initiatives across product, geographies and audiences.
- Setting, reporting and monitoring of team goals
- Lead the evolution of the design of our brand and our positioning
- Ensure a consistent brand message across all channels (including events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
- Identify opportunities to reach our market segments and expand market share
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a relevant field; Minimum 10 years marketing experience
- Motivated team player who actively seeks challenging projects and proactively shares experiences and knowledge towards the team’s goals.
- Experience building integrated marketing communications programs, and driving outcomes across traditional media, digital and social channels
- Solid knowledge of Google Analytics, Adwords, Appsflyer (or similar app measurement tool)
- Experience with CRM software
- Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
- Analytical mind
- Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative
- Self-starter. Able to work independently as needed.
- Knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry and trading would be an advantage but not necessary
