The opportunity:


We are looking for a Business Development Manager for Event Sponsorships Sales to join the exciting sector of Web3, crypto, and the blockchain ecosystem who can work in a fast-paced and fast-growing industry. This position will be responsible for creating and managing a sales pipeline and should be emersed in the industry. We are looking for a driven, self-sufficient professional who doesn’t need constant direction or management.

  • Obsessed about pipeline building and closing deals

  • Proven experience in business development or partnership roles

  • Experience or interest in events

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • CRM management experience with the ability to effectively enter and maintain a sales pipeline; Salesforce strongly preferred


What You’ll Do:



  • Identify, pursue, and develop new sponsorship leads and opportunities within the crypto, DeFi, AI, Web3, FinTech, and blockchain sectors

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline with full CRM transparency and reporting.

  • Work closely with the founder and head of sales to refine and evolve offerings.

  • Operate with high accountability and ownership of your pipeline and results.

  • Collaborate with the event production and marketing teams to align on deliverables for partners and sponsors.

  • Represent the event and brand at industry meetups, conferences, and virtual networking sessions.

  • Ensure timely execution of partner obligations and deliverables leading up to and during the event.

  • Provide insights on trends and key players in the blockchain space to inform strategy and outreach.

  • Flexibility outside core hours – this is a global industry, and occasional evening calls are part of the game

Required Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in business development or partnership roles within the crypto, Web3, tech, or event industry. This is not a role for someone new to the space.



  • A strong network of contacts in the blockchain and crypto ecosystem.



  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.



  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.



  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and remotely.



  • Understanding of current trends in Web3, crypto, blockchain, and AI



  • CRM management experience with the ability to effectively enter and maintain a sales pipeline; Salesforce strongly preferred



  • Job Title: Business Development Manager for Event Sponsorship Sales



  • Location: Remote / Hybrid (Event location-based travel as needed), EST preferred



  • Contract Duration: 1 year, with potential for extension



  • Industry: Crypto, Blockchain, Web3 Events



  • Reports to: Head of Sales



  • Compensation: $60k + commission and potential for extension or permanent opportunity post-event
