Smart Contract Auditor / On-Chain Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Smart Contract Auditor / On-Chain Engineer to join our fast-growing team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for auditing and securing smart contracts, modeling edge cases and hack scenarios, as well as developing and maintaining on-chain infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with our blockchain developers and product teams to ensure the integrity and security of our smart contracts deployed across various decentralized platforms.

A key part of your role will be conducting in-depth research on emerging protocols and staying up to date with the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and innovations in the DeFi and blockchain space. This will help you ensure that our smart contracts are not only secure but also take full advantage of new, best-in-class protocol features.

Additionally, a solid understanding of on-chain execution, including optimizing transaction flows, is essential for this role. Experience with writing trading bots that interact with on-chain protocols or decentralized exchanges would also be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Research Emerging Protocols: Analyze new blockchain protocols, reviewing their documentation, audits, and smart contracts to identify risks and recommend improvements for integration.


• Code Review & Analysis: Review code for compliance with best practices, identifying potential security flaws, and ensuring that contracts function as intended.


• Smart Contract Auditing: Perform thorough security audits on smart contracts, identifying vulnerabilities, bugs, and optimization opportunities. Provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.


• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with blockchain developers, product managers, and stakeholders to design and implement secure smart contract solutions.


• Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Provide support for ongoing issues or incidents related to smart contract vulnerabilities or failures.


• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed reports and documentation on auditing processes, findings, and resolutions.

Requirements & Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in smart contract auditing and on-chain development.


• Strong proficiency in Solidity and in-depth understanding of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and gas optimization.


• Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and platforms (e.g., Uniswap, Aave, Compound, Pendle).


• Deep knowledge of smart contract security best practices, including common vulnerabilities


• Knowledge of consensus mechanisms used in PoS systems (staking, restacking, slashing , etc …).


• Experience with on-chain execution, including transaction optimization, gas management, and effective interaction with DeFi protocols.


• Ability to provide clear technical documentation and communicate security findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Fluent in English (wriYen and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively in a distributed team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other blockchain platforms such as Solana, Cosmos, or


• Familiarity with formal verification techniques or static analysis tools for smart contract auditing.


• Experience writing and maintaining on-chain trading bots or algorithms that interact with decentralized exchanges or other on-chain assets.

Location: Flexible; availability during US trading hours is preferred.
