Salary: 150k-220kCHF (depending on experience)

As the CMO, you will develop successful, next-level marketing strategies and work with and grow the marketing team to scale up the growth effort. You are ambitious and ready to make a name for yourself in Web3 by growing the brand, with the goal of changing the world and positively impacting the lives of millions.
You will have a genuine interest in Web3, as well as a solid foundation in traditional marketing and will be responsible for representing the brand publicly and improving the brand identity/proposition. This will be a hands-on role!
Responsibilities
- Set the foundation of the marketing department and define the vision of unpaired.’s marketing processes, strategy, and operational functions
- Define, and ensure the execution of the end-to-end global marketing strategy, with localisation at it’s core and customer-centric storytelling
- Design and execute plans to attract, maintain and engage both crypto and mainstream players
- Plan and execute strategies to expand the community exponentially
- Design and execute comprehensive and project-specific marketing plans for the upcoming token launch and future NFT collections
- Research and assess the market and the company’s position in the Web3 ecosystem, and determine how and where the company should be positioned in the future
- Develop the strategy to drive the organisation to that future market position and execute the strategy
- Oversee the development and placement of the creative elements that position the company in the marketplace
- Maintain a deep understanding of business goals, translating them into digital objectives/strategies
- Uphold and cultivate true long-term relationships amongst all partners, and stakeholders
- Keep abreast of the latest developments and opportunities in the crypto and web3 sector and how these can be capitalised upon
- Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion
- Work closely with the product and sales team to raise the brand awareness, recognition and loyalty and turn marketing insights into sales
- Direct the company’s public relations efforts
- Oversee the company’s use of analytics platforms to understand customer preferences, priorities and patterns
- Create, launch and manage multi-channel campaigns and initiatives, to drive organic acquisition & engagement
- Own full-funnel responsibility for the marketing initiatives, brand and growth across all channels and platforms
- Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with management, creative and content teams, and partners, to create effective and efficient marketing materials for corporate and brand needs
- Hold regular meetings with the team to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions
- Attend and/or participate at conventions and conferences, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Deep experience setting marketing and go-to-market strategies
- Exceptional storytelling, written, and verbal communication skills
- Outside of the box thinker with meticulous attention to detail
- A very high degree of familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem and other projects within the space, in particular the NFT space
- Extremely proactive: an ability to take the initiative and create and implement a plan without instruction or guidance
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Min 8 years experience in comparable marketing position, with agency experience preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing leadership position
- Experience with the Web3 space
- Keen interest in NFTs & reputation tokens
- Passionate about cutting-edge technology and solving complex business problems
- Willing to learn a new way of working
- Naturally curious and wanting to learn more
- Creative, think out of the box, out of the old marketing system
- Fantastic communication skills
