Who we are looking for


As Business Development & Partnerships Lead, you will help grow Mnemonic by identifying high-leverage business and partnership opportunities and creating new ones. Your day-to-day will include prioritizing opportunities, pursuing deals, and ensuring success for partners.


Our existing relationships range from crypto native startups to traditional Fortune 500 brands, and therefore you will work directly with a range of companies across different sectors, sizes and NFT familiarity. Today these relationships are brokered and owned by the founding team and within this role you will take over not only those relationships but also own responsibility for building out and growing our BD and partnerships program.


The role



  • Managing inbound partnerships requests: You will manage and prioritize an influx of business and collaboration opportunities across a wide range of partners (DeFi, marketplaces, brands/traditionals, crypto data companies). Longer term the scope will broaden as NFTs disrupt more and more sectors.

  • Sourcing new business and partnerships opportunities: You will identify and present new and exciting strategic account and partnership opportunities based on your own network, research and other sourcing activities.

  • Ensuring the success of existing partners: You will work closely with existing and future partners by synthesizing feedback, negotiating deal structures, and managing relationships.

  • Owning partnerships strategy: Reporting to the CEO, you will own and develop the overall partnerships strategy and function within the organization.


What we are looking for



  • 3+ years experience in partnerships or business development (with at least 1 of the years at a software or technology company)

  • Experience with working in cross-functional team environments (engineering, product, support, partnerships, marketing, etc.)

  • Understanding of NFT and Web3 culture, NFT landscapes (marketplaces, DeFi, gaming)

  • Entrepreneurial and self-directed, innovative, biased towards action in fast-paced environments

  • Able to tackle ambiguous and undefined problems


Nice to haves



  • Experience navigating and closing BD/partnerships within complex traditional Fortune 500 enterprises

  • Personal experience owning and trading NFT’s and cryptocurrency more broadly
