The Risk Protocol is building the risk layer of crypto. We provide next-gen risk products that allow users to harness, trade and exploit crypto risk to their advantage, in an intuitive and frictionless manner. These products are powered by a highly sophisticated proprietary risk engine that measures, structures and tokenizes risk at scale. The product is highly scalable and has very significant TAM - there are no comparable products in crypto. The company is led and backed by highly experienced senior finance professionals with extensive backgrounds in quantitative investments, derivatives and risk management. We have an equally strong crypto native developer team with broad-ranging experience in web3 and fintech.


We are seeking high-quality candidates in select roles to round out the team. The primary attributes we are looking for in a candidate include: highly driven and motivated, strong work ethic, self-starter, master in his/her field of expertise, a no-nonsense approach with open transparent communication and importantly, easy to get along with. Role Description & Responsibilities


We are looking for a veteran crypto native with substantial experience in developing and leading GTM strategies in the DeFi ecosystem. You will spearhead our GTM strategy. The right candidate will possess a strong understanding of both B2B and B2C user acquisition, user growth and marketing funnels across social and web3. You should have the experience, the strategic vision and the leadership skills to take the initiative and own the GTM strategy. We are a small team so you also need to be fully comfortable wearing multiple hats and rolling up your sleeves and implementing the details.


Role overview:



  1. We have a product that is truly unique – your job will be to translate our technical innovation into practical, shareable communication and ensure that our target users are aware of and excited about our products

  2. Design and execute GTM strategies and campaigns (based on effective market research, competitive analysis and defining target users) to attract and scale users to our DeFi platform

  3. Develop our digital communities (X, Discord, Telegram etc.) and manage and engage with them effectively

  4. Build relationships with and manage partnerships and collaborations with other Web3 projects, communities, and influencers to expand our reach and ecosystem.

  5. Stay ahead of the latest trends and narratives in web3 and DeFi, and translate them into resonant strategies and messages

  6. Track success metrics and continuously optimize campaign effectiveness based on user feedback and performance data

  7. Gain insights into user interests and pain points, customizing solutions to align with the customer journey


We have taken great care to build a core team that is cohesive, collegial, hard-working and experts in their respective fields. Candidates will be assessed through those lens in addition to technical skills and qualifications. This is a remote role.


Skills/Qualifications



  1. Veteran DeFi native with deep understanding of the DeFi ecosystem, the different sectors within DeFi, leading protocols and their GTM strategies. This is a fundamental requirement. The ideal candidate isn’t just a DeFi native – they’re DeFi obsessed and well plugged into the crypto native DeFi community

  2. 5+ years of experience in marketing, community, social media, and growth roles. 3+ years of experience within web3 (mandatory)

  3. Previous experience in successfully building and expanding a social media presence and a passionate user community from scratch. Analytical and data-driven approach to building and nurturing communities

  4. Demonstrated track record of delivering on growth metrics in a growth leadership role within DeFi

  5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and fluency in English (verbal and written)

  7. Capable of working independently with minimal guidance, demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks. Brings new ideas to the company

  8. Ability to execute projects quickly while maintaining high-quality standards.
