About Us:


Neuron is building the ‘Internet of Things’ as it was first imagined. A peer to peer network providing exchange of value between stakeholders in the ecosystem. Use cases include last mile delivery, flight tracking, EV charging, and environmental sensing. Neuron recently graduated from the Outlier Ventures base camp 10 accelerator, obtaining investment and grants that will be used to help scale the team.


The Role:


We have had a stand-in contractor leading our technical development, who was one of the early engineers at Hedera Hashgraph. He still works with us, and has been fantastic in building our technology team and MVP. We are now looking to hire a co-founder CTO, who is able to work with and shape our existing team, and iterate and execute on our product roadmap. The successful candidate will have expertise in the development of blockchain software, including smart contracts, peer-to-peer communications, and be able to evidence previous projects they have previously built and deployed. They will be working with the CEO, to design, develop, and launch features of the product, and build a team to deliver on the companies vision. In return you will receive a competitive salary, along with a negotiable equity position that will vest over a 4 year period.


Who you are:



  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering

  • Experience building blockchain/ peer-to-peer networks

  • Proficient in Go and Solidity programming languages

  • Be able to demonstrate previous work deployed live or on localhost

  • Based in London, or happy to relocate

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Passionate and excited about building future tech

  • Ability to lead and mentor developers


What the job involves:



  • Building the product team

  • Lead on our product development and deployment

  • Manage the software development lifecycle from conception to deployment

  • Develop and maintain software documentation

  • Identify and troubleshoot software bugs and problems

  • Collaborate with other co-founders on business activities

  • Provide technical leadership to developers
