About Your Team


The mission for the Product Marketing team at BlockFi is to generate insights to shape the product roadmap, craft the narrative for our products, and lead go-to-market efforts to drive product growth.


Product Marketing at BlockFi is a highly cross-functional role partnering with many teams to develop, launch, and scale products. Product Marketing partners with Product, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, and Design to build products; and collaborate with Growth Marketing, Creative, Customer Insights & Research to launch campaigns which increase brand awareness and product adoption globally.


The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Consumer will champion the voice of the customer when developing and marketing our products. You will ensure the right customers are getting the right messages about the right products through the right channels at the right time. You are a strategic thinker, skilled storyteller, and are comfortable yielding data to uncover insights.


Your Mission


We are looking for a strategic and analytical Senior Product Marketing Manager for the BlockFi Earn & Core - which covers our Wallet and Earn products as well as the mobile app. The BlockFi app is the flagship product used by hundreds of thousands of consumers to buy, sell, and invest in cryptocurrencies.


Responsibilities:



  • Interview consumers and work with partner teams to surface qualitative and quantitative insights to shape the product roadmap, messaging, and positioning.

  • Conduct user research and work with internal teams – from Product Management to Client Services, Sales, and Marketing – to define the target audience for your product.

  • Work with Analytics to clearly define and measure the customer journey, customer engagement, and hero metrics that align with positive outcomes for customers and the business

  • Drive go-to-market strategies, including targeting, segmentation, product positioning, value propositions, creative messaging, channel and budget optimization

  • Partner with Customer Success to intake client feedback and incorporate into product and marketing roadmaps


Your Expertise



  • A strategic thinker. Ability to analyze a lot of inputs and synthesize prioritized strategy and plan. Experience working closely with product, design, and engineering to inform and influence the product strategy.

  • A storyteller. You empathize with users and know how to craft a narrative and bring it to life – internally to drive change and externally across marketing channels (owned, paid, earned).

  • A researcher. Have deep empathy and clearly articulate customer pain points through qualitative and quantitative research, and develop product and marketing solutions that meet those needs

  • Skilled at brand marketing. You are skilled at naming, positioning, packaging, and messaging. You can write clear and compelling briefs.

  • PMM Exceptional communication skills. You can communicate clearly and effectively across all stakeholders
