Kaiko is a rapidly growing fintech company in the digital assets industry with an international presence. The Challenge:


Day to day, this is what you’ll be doing:



  • Identifying prospect clients through various channels; networking, social media, in-bound leads, news/media sources

  • Reaching out to prospect clients via electronic mediums, phone calls (including cold calls), in person meetings, representing the company at trade shows, etc.

  • Sustaining a lead pipeline through regular follow ups and chasers

  • Completing Requests for Proposal/Quote documents for prospective customers

  • Driving opportunities, through the sales cycle, to closure


Broader activities/expectations



  • Developing and maintaining a solid network of directly relevant contacts in the industry

  • Developing and maintaining a social/soft network across the industry, and related industries

  • Developing a deep understanding of the digital assets market dynamics (client types, price drivers, client needs, decision makers, different territory/type nuances, competitors offerings, etc.)

  • Working closely/collaboratively with the Head of APAC, other local and global Sales Executives


About You:



  • 5+ years experience of sales in either financial services, distributed ledger technology or information/data services; you may be requested to demonstrate/evidence your success through references.

  • Good experience and understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) or Market Data products

  • Really good self-motivation, self-organization and personal commitment to succeed

  • The ability to listen carefully, understand needs and build trusted relationships, including at senior executive level in large complex organizations

  • The ability to negotiate calmly and effectively and help customers close a deal

  • Ability to follow up and track/champion initial wins into delivered products

  • Great presentation, written and verbal communication skills, so you can explain concepts and user stories with confidence

  • Natural storytelling ability to weave a narrative of Kaiko’s solution into a client’s daily life

  • Fluent English speaker, with another major language preferred (Mandarin, Korean or Japanese, etc.)

  • An understanding of, and general ease with technology


Bonus points if you also have:



  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM system, or something similar

  • Experience landing new logos in banks, asset managers, hedge funds, exchanges, insurance companies, fintechs and other financial intermediaries

  • Examples of growing sales across groups or business lines within an organization

  • Experience with sales process models such as MEDDIC and challenger sales


Important points to note before applying:



  • You must have permanent resident status or Singaporean Nationality

  • The role will be based in Singapore, with APAC regional travel as needed. Occasional global travel for marketing/offsite events.
