Fully RemoteThe Operations Support Paralegal is a key member of the legal department at Rhodium who supports the department’s mission by drafting and organizing documents, docketing important deadlines, assisting with insurance-related matters, assisting with compliance-related audits and filings, and collaborating with outside counsel.
The successful candidate will be a strong problem solver, highly organized, and able to work well without extensive supervision. The Operations Support Paralegal will report to the head of the legal department.

Experience, Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assisting Corporate Secretary with organization, execution and preservation of company legal records, including board minutes, records of board and committee meetings, preparation of materials for board/shareholder meetings, and minute book maintenance for multiple subsidiaries
- Assistance with regulatory compliance, regulatory filings, compliance audits, internal controls, compliance training and reporting obligations
- Drafting correspondence, preparing analyses, and preparing other legal documents
- Collaboration within the legal department, across business divisions and with outside counsel
- Maintaining insurance records, filing insurance claims, and collaborating with insurance brokers
- Assistance with corporate entity formation and maintenance
- Project management, assistance with docketing of significant transactional, regulatory compliance and contractual deadlines
- Managing approval process for key documents using a document management system
- Assistance with HR and employment policies, procedures and investigations
- Assistance with investor relations issues, public relations issues, and website compliance
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively and seamlessly during normal business hours on a remote basis
- Willingness to travel occasionally to attend periodic in-person meetings and or special projects
- A team player who is willing to pitch in as needed to support this early-stage company, including by performing administrative and clerical tasks as may be needed from time to time
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook required
- Experience supporting publicly traded companies preferred but not required
- Experience using document management or contract management software a plus
