Business Development Manager
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to assist our Director of Security Consulting Services in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities by generating and responding to leads, maintaining client relationships, and assisting with the coordination of all business development activities.
In addition, the Business Development Manager will help us stay organized with and responsive to our existing security consulting clients and partners. This role provides key support to our security consulting team and our clients by delivering quality and value with our work.
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Manage client data, including ensuring the information in our CRM and internal file systems is accurate and up to date;
- Communicate with existing clients about engagement and project status, including scheduling;
- Conduct lead calls, respond to lead emails, and triage questions from prospective clients;
- Guide the proposal development process, including drafting initial proposals and coordinating input for estimates;
- Collect key information and facilitate internal reviews of information from prospective and existing clients and their desired projects;
- Coordinate with clients and team members to oversee the completion of various engagement documentation;
- Track client engagement details internally, for both prospective and existing clients;
- Assist with the filtering and prioritization of incoming leads for both prospective and existing clients;
- Report internally on client engagement activities; and
- Conduct market research to identify new business development opportunities.

- Blockchain, cryptocurrency and Web 3.0 systems;
- Open source software and development practices;
- Security best practices and threat modeling; and
- Privacy Enhancing Technologies and secure communications tools.
This position can be part-time or full-time based on your interests and our needs for your individual skill set.
