Marketing and Community Manager

Rocket Pool is looking for a Marketing and Community Manager to drive our market presence and nurture our community. As Rocket Pool’s Marketing and Community Manager, you will be instrumental in developing our marketing strategy and executing that strategy on a day-to-day basis.

Rocket Pool has a huge and passionate community. As Rocket Pool’s Marketing and Community Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with the community, participating in governance, keeping the community up-to-date, and driving community initiatives.

Role

• Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies


• Provide engaging text, image and video content for all social media and professional accounts


• Seek out and coordinate marketing opportunities


• Monitor, track and report on feedback and online activity


• Organise and manage events to boost brand awareness


• Build relationships with the community, industry professionals and journalists


• Participate and organise community calls and events


• Develop and manage sponsorship opportunities


• Participate in governance discussions on our governance forum


• Stay up-to-date with crypto, Ethereum, and DeFi trends


• Work with the community evangelists to develop and enhance campaigns and provide outreach to other projects

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role


• Experience planning and leading community initiatives


• Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs


• Excellent verbal communication skills


• Excellent writing skills


• Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills


• Hands on experience with social media management


• Knowledge of online marketing, particularly crypto and defi specific


• Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver


• BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field

Highly Desirable

• Knowledge of cryptocurrencies and decentralised finance


• Some overlap with Australian AEST timezone
