The Data Union DAO is looking for a Developer Relations Engineer. The DUDAO offers an SDK for ethical data sourcing and monetization. We are creating an ecosystem of Data Unions which are supported with grants, developer tools and mentorship. We are now looking for someone to help us with activating our developer community.


The Data Union SDK is a TypeScript client that interacts with the EVM compatible Data Union smart contracts. These contracts manage the membership of the Data Union and trustlessly distribute rewards to the members in return for providing their data. Examples of Data Unions in flight are: Swash, DIMO and Unbanx.


The Job



  • Manage integrations and help developers with integrations

  • Engage with external teams to support large-scale developer events & hackathons

  • Give technical presentations at events

  • Day-to-day engagement with our Discord group

  • Help to triage GitHub issues, hacking on demos, authoring technical guides, and more.

  • We are looking for a self-directed person who wants to help us build a community while staying hands on with the tech stack.

  • Educate projects and developers on the features and benefits of the Data Union SDK


About you



  • Experienced JavaScript/TypeScript developer that is curious, or has experience with Solidity and web3 with developing, testing, and troubleshooting JavaScript/TypeScript frontend and Node based applications.

  • Fluent in spoken English, reading, and writing in English

  • Curious, professional, personable, and self-directed.

  • Interested in blockchain technologies.
