This page collects Web3 and crypto salaries for the roles most often advertised on Find Web3, from blockchain developers to smart contract engineers. Each role page shows a median and a middle range built from the pay employers state in their own job listings.
Listings quoted in dollars are counted, along with the ones that state a figure without naming a currency, since the board's pay lines are overwhelmingly in dollars; euro and pound figures are left out. Hourly and monthly rates are annualized so everything compares. The figures update daily as new listings arrive. Plenty of employers never publish a range, so these numbers lean toward companies that do: read them as a guide to what is being advertised, not a market average.
Does Web3 pay well?
Advertised pay for engineering roles in Web3 is competitive with other specialized software work, though it varies widely by seniority, employer and location. The medians on this page show what employers are putting in their own listings, which is the most direct answer available. Token grants and equity are common on top of base salary in crypto and are not included in these figures.
How are these salary figures calculated?
We read the pay employers state in their own listings on Find Web3, keep the ones in dollars or with no currency marked, and annualize hourly and monthly rates. From those we take a median and the middle of the range for each role, then rebuild the numbers daily. Listings that state no pay are left out entirely.
Why do salary ranges vary so much?
One job title covers wide ground in crypto. Seniority, whether the role touches funds directly, company stage and funding, and the country a remote worker is paid from all move the figure.
