Backend Systems Engineer

HyperDash, a leading trading analytics platform on Hyperliquid, is building onchain fund-of-funds infrastructure, allowing users to create personalized portfolios of traders and manage their combined risk effectively. We have already launched the beta version of our product and are currently in the process of rapid scaling.

We’re seeking a backend engineer to develop robust trading execution and risk management systems, design well-structured APIs in collaboration with our frontend team, and implement scalable data storage solutions. You’ll be instrumental in helping us serve more of our target market while maintaining our exceptional performance standards.

Interest in markets and trading is essential, as all team members contribute to product feature design. Your technical expertise combined with trading insights will directly impact our platform’s evolution and our users’ success.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement order execution systems that can handle complex trading strategies across multiple accounts


• Create scalable data pipelines for trader performance analytics and strategy correlation metrics


• Implement monitoring and alerting systems for operational reliability

Technical requirements:

• Experience building reliable, high-throughput real-time systems


• Experience managing a distributed system on AWS


• Understanding of financial market structure concepts (order types, execution, etc.)


• Experience with database design and optimization

• Interests like chess, poker, or competitive gaming would fit well

It is an early-stage opportunity with significant upside as we are seeing real traction already. Besides that, it is also a chance to build something on the frontier that hasn’t been built before.

Compensation for this role is going to be 5-7k USD / mo depending on your experience and seniority, as well as an equity package after 2-3 month trial period.
