Here at StoryDAO, our mission is to create Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) where communities can own, participate, and create story-based IP that becomes as culturally relevant as Star Wars, Pokemon, or The Simpsons. The IP created by these communities will be used in TV, movies, comic books, narrative podcasts, and games.
StoryDAO is a narrative-based world-building project on the Ethereum blockchain using character-based NFTs created by incredible artists, and storylines written by known Hollywood talent to establish community membership and encourage participation. We are changing the way that IP is created and owned, and bridging the gap between the metaverse and Hollywood by moving from a top-down, centralized, and closed sandbox framework to a bottom-up, decentralized, and open-sourced one. It is the ultimate fan experience - you have access to some of the most famous writers and producers in Hollywood, own the characters, help govern the DAO treasury, and have the opportunity to actively participate in the story development. We are pioneering a “create to own” model.

We are a rapidly growing startup moving at the lightning-fast pace of crypto. The candidate we select will play an essential role to the development, culture, and future of the company, as well as paving the way for this new approach to entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a “hype playbook” inspired by proven models of success for other large projects in the NFT space. This playbook will include strategies for finding and developing partnerships, influencer strategy and outreach, Twitter and other social media interaction, and organizing press including podcasts, news outlets, and branded announcements and messaging.
- Oversee production of content to be used in these settings, including written, audio, and video content to clearly articulate the brand. All efforts should be coordinated with the community manager to ensure a consistent and high quality experience.
- Top level knowledge of SEO and ability to execute with help from the development team.
- Bring the experience of the StoryDAO and our active storylines to social media in order to encourage participation and establish a sense of belonging for the fans that aren’t holders.
- Execute projects accurately, designed to meet KPIs and measure against them.
Relevant Experience
- Proof of success in marketing campaigns in existing NFT projects.
- Proven knowledge and interest in the blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFTs, and DeFi space.
- Expertise in growth marketing campaigns and social media strategy.
- Self-starter with a creative, strategic, and enthusiastic drive.
- Bring good vibes to the table everyday.
- Adept at using marketing and design tools to optimize output.
- Solutions-minded and data-driven with the ability to work efficiently and automate tasks.
