Job description – DeFi Trader

In this remote Algorithmic Trader position, we are looking for a passionate, experienced, and skilled Trader/Risk Manager to join the Market Risk team.

As a DeFi Trader, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing algorithmic trading strategies within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem, with a particular focus on market-making and trading on on-chain decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

Key responsibilities – Algorithmic Trader

In this remote Crypto Trader job, you’ll be involved in:

• Develop and execute algorithmic trading & liquidity provision strategies in the DeFi space, particularly on DEXs.


• Monitor and analyze market conditions to identify market opportunities and implement risk management practices.


• Optimize trading algorithms for performance and efficiency across various blockchain networks.


• Collaborate with other team members to improve trading models, infrastructure, and systems.


• Work with smart contract developers to ensure smooth integration of trading strategies with DeFi protocols.


• Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in DeFi, blockchain technology, and crypto markets.


• Continuously evaluate and improve trading strategies based on market performance and data-driven insights.

Job requirements – DeFi Trader

In this remote Algorithmic Trader job, we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.


• At least 2 years of experience in crypto algorithmic trading or market making, with a focus on DeFi (preferably on-chain DEX).


• Strong coding skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar programming languages.


• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, decentralized exchanges, and blockchain ecosystems.


• Solid grasp of financial concepts and risk management principles in trading.


• Proven track record in developing and executing trading strategies in live markets.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
