As the intersection of AI and blockchain accelerates, most AI workloads are run off chain due to unique hardware requirements for each step of an AI workflow - preprocessing, LLMs, visual models, audio models, etc. Turbo has architected a performant decentralized blockchain that empowers context aware execution of AI workflows across heterogeneous chips and nodes. Use cases include perpetual AI agents, privacy preserving agents run on specific nodes, interactive multimodal onchain agents, edge network agents leveraging edge computation for low latency, hybrid local and cloud AI compute more.

To support these on-chain features, Turbo has built the industry’s only operational, high-throughput parallel EVM blockchain (currently running at 5K TPS and fully conformant with Ethereum’s test suite).

The company has existing relationships with numerous potential crypto AI customers and is hiring a CEO to lead its GTM.

Role overview:

Turbo Protocol is seeking an experienced and strategic CEO to lead the company through its next phase of growth. As the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the business, with a strong focus on strategy and positioning, GTM, business development, fundraising, investor relations, and building a high-performing team. This is a hands-on role requiring a combination of technical understanding, entrepreneurial drive, and operational excellence to ensure the company executes on its ambitious goals.

Requirements:

• Undergrad or higher in CS, EE, or related technical field


• Knowledge of contemporary AI technology


• Prior leadership experience as a CEO/Product Manager/similar


• Prior experience fundraising for a venture-backed technology firm


• Prior experience in a fast-moving startup and can effectively reason under pressure and tight timelines


• Expertise in building teams from first principles to enable scalable, on-time delivery of the company roadmap


• Operational excellence in business administration


• Enjoys building relationships with investors, customers, and other relevant stakeholders


• High energy and commitment to accomplishing the company’s goals


• Ability to travel to global conferences and other events

Optional:

• Master’s degree (e.g. MBA), or equivalent experience preferred


• Deep network in AI and blockchain preferred
