Our products are live with heavy hitters like Polymarket, Trust Wallet, Brave Browser, and many others to make crypto simpler. We have onboarded 2M + users across 150+ countries to Web3 and handle 100s of thousands of transactions per month.

You will be responsible for handling a variety of risk and compliance adjacent tasks within Swapped to ensure compliance with various regulatory obligations, while offering the best possible user experience for our customers.

What you will do

• Source of funds checks: Handle source of funds check by reviewing customer information and documentation submissions.


• Crypto wallet screening: Review alerts triggered within our crypto wallet screening alerting system and create reports for our MLRO, where applicable


• Transaction reviews: Manually review various customer orders to determine whether we accept or decline an order in line with our anti-fraud systems and processes


• Documentation: Maintain existing documentation, and create new documentation where applicable, internally and externally on the processes you’re following day to day


• Cross-team collaboration: Liaise regularly with the support and risk team about any relevant updates or changes, as well as other departments within the company to raise issues or suggestions

Skills & Competencies

• Experience with compliance and risk tasks, including source of funds checks


• Great communication and problem solving skills


• Proactivity when handling issues and tasks


• Ability to work independently and remotely effectively


• Comfortable working in fast paced environments

Who you are

• 2-3 years of experience within risk and compliance roles, ideally within fintech, crypto, or a payment service provider environment


• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset


• Proactive team player with high ownership and agency of your work and responsibilities


• Great ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English with colleagues, and customers


• Excels in fast paced working environments without unnecessary processes or bureaucracy

Bonus

• Experience with non-custodial crypto models


• Experience within start up and/or fast moving working environments


• Experience within iGaming
