Giant empowers the $2T telco market to move onto the blockchain, with an open, and efficient network for all. We are building a network that enables any party to become a provider of connectivity (and even financial services), bringing blockchain benefits to existing telcos but also opening the world up for new methods of providing connectivity - mesh networks, peer to peer, etc, pushing the economic benefits back to the participants. Our goal is to build the last singular network for the planet, accessible to anyone and owned by everyone.

Director of Marketing


We seek a Head of Marketing to build an omnichannel marketing practice and organization from the ground up in a fast growing, disruptive startup. This person will own the strategy and execution across all marketing touch points including press, social, email, websites, content marketing, events, performance, and partner marketing.


Recent experience leading multi-channel marketing for a consumer product in the crypto space is required.

Telcos are increasingly required to compete with banks on financial services Billions of end-users struggling with multiple expensive accounts and hard-to-access crypto and blockchain-based financial services


Connectivity hubs like airlines, cruise ships, local hot spots, in need of ancillary revenues and looking to improve user experience and loyalty Blockchain community, looking for ‘legos' - product functionality - that can easily be integrated into existing products and services. Blockchain projects can both bring users to their network, as well as bringing functionality that can be unlocked for the users of their network


Requirements



  • 8+ years of experience marketing innovative and disruptive direct-to-consumer mobile apps, serving hundreds of millions of users, if not billions

  • 2+ years of experience marketing crypto and/or crypto, ideally for a public protocol and/ or layer 1 blockchain

  • Deep understanding of web3, its value proposition to consumers, all stakeholders, its shortcomings, and the role it has to play in the future

  • Experience conducting market research to understand multiple audience sub-segments, the values and motivations that drive their decisions, and messaging and marketing tactics that will reach and engage them

  • Proven track record of driving outstanding growth in reach and engagement for a brand new product or service

  • Demonstrated experience optimizing multichannel marketing activities across mobile, web, social, email, content marketing, events, and partner marketing channels

  • Keen sense of how to position a company and/or product as a leader, to create a brand that consumers see as synonymous with the future

  • Excellent judgment with the ability to speak about difficult decisions, pros and cons, and rationale for why you made the decision you did

  • Obvious history of career growth and increasing scope of responsibilities

  • Experience cultivating a high-performing team and external vendors to achieve outstanding results

  • Ability to communicate about complex topics clearly and compellingly

  • A palpable, natural passion and curiosity
