Investment Operations Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for investments and trading team, with an emphasis on optimizing reconciliation and post-trade settlement procedures


• Liaise with technology and operations teams as needed


• Help to streamline communications between trading desk and operations/back office teams


• Monitor pending settlements


• Communicate and liaise with counterparties and exchanges as needed


• Identify opportunities for process improvement, technology upgrades and automation; implement solutions as needed


• Maintain relationships with counterparties to efficiently instruct and settle wire activity for trade settlement and funding


• Provide additional administrative support at the direction of CIO

Skills and Qualifications:

• University degree (STEM preferred)


• Min 1-3 years of relevant industry experience and/or trading reconciliation experience


• Very strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills


• Highly motivated self-starters with a passion for digital assets and trading


• Experience dealing with money transfers/wires and banking platforms


• Excellent understanding of digital assets including DeFi and cross chain is a plus


• Javascript knowledge is preferred


• Strong MS Excel and CS fundamentals will be highly regarded (Python, R, database, linux scripting or other complied languages)


• Previous experience working in fast-paced, high pressure environment


• High sense of urgency and dedication to efficiency


• A demonstrated ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks/projects autonomously


• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
