Job description
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for investments and trading team, with an emphasis on optimizing reconciliation and post-trade settlement procedures
- Liaise with technology and operations teams as needed
- Help to streamline communications between trading desk and operations/back office teams
- Monitor pending settlements
- Communicate and liaise with counterparties and exchanges as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, technology upgrades and automation; implement solutions as needed
- Maintain relationships with counterparties to efficiently instruct and settle wire activity for trade settlement and funding
- Provide additional administrative support at the direction of CIO
Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree (STEM preferred)
- Min 1-3 years of relevant industry experience and/or trading reconciliation experience
- Very strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Highly motivated self-starters with a passion for digital assets and trading
- Experience dealing with money transfers/wires and banking platforms
- Excellent understanding of digital assets including DeFi and cross chain is a plus
- Javascript knowledge is preferred
- Strong MS Excel and CS fundamentals will be highly regarded (Python, R, database, linux scripting or other complied languages)
- Previous experience working in fast-paced, high pressure environment
- High sense of urgency and dedication to efficiency
- A demonstrated ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks/projects autonomously
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
