Support Engineer

WalletConnect is the open-source web3 standard to connect blockchain wallets to dapps. Any wallet, any dapp, any chain. Starting in 2018, our mission is to make web3 accessible to everyone. Every month, millions of people use WalletConnect in over 300 integrations. We just raised our $11M Series A from USV, Coinbase and other leading investors, and are looking to grow.

The Role

We’re looking for a support engineer to help developers build the future of web3 by providing support and technical assistance. The job includes working closely with developers on Discord, Github Issues and Discussions, and helping them successfully launch their projects. In addition, you’ll be working closely with our engineering teams to provide developer feedback and get answers to questions.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to answer community questions, speak with developers, and support integration partners


• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve developer problems


• Be the voice of our community to the internal team so we can improve based on feedback


• Triage Github Issues and Discussions


• Monitor Discord and other channels


• Update and improve documentation


• Help improve internal tooling and process


• Reproduce issues, create test cases, and improve test coverage, if you have experience with testing

Must have:

• Passion for web3 and crypto / Blockchain experience


• 2+ years of experience in a support engineering role


• Excellent written English communication skills


• Experience working with GitHub Issues and Discussions


• Familiarity with Discord, or similar chat programs


• Comfortable with popular JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte)

• Experience as a software developer
