Blockchain Engineer

Gallop is a data infrastructure platform enabling data engineers, developers, and data scientists to rapidly launch NFT products and experiences. Gallop’s composable data aggregation, analytic, and insight APIs empower developers to expand the utility of NFTs by getting to market faster, enriching customer experiences, and increasing NFT asset performance. Customers building on top of Gallop include consumer social platforms, crypto wallets, lending protocols, and NFT minters.

We’re looking for a founding team member who will guide and build our data aggregation strategy as Gallop scales its on and off-chain data products. Responsibilities:

• You’ll be responsible for building multiple blockchain NFT data aggregation pipelines


• You’ll be integrating and maintaining RPC nodes in the Gallop infrastructure as well as integrating third party blockchain node providers


• You’ll be responsible for proper filtering, normalization, and storage of the NFT data aggregates


• You’ll work independently and be free to solve, build, and ship according to the shape up method

Qualifications:

• 3+ years as a software engineer


• Minimum 1 year experience writing smart contracts


• Good understanding of Solidity, Assembly, and the EVM


• Familiarity with ETL data integration techniques


• Writing code that’s clean, easy to audit, well documented and tested


• Proven ability to work remotely with teams of various sizes in same/different time zones


• Excellent English communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation
