Fully RemoteAbout OpenMind
OpenMind is building the AI-native operating system (OM1) and global coordination layer (FABRIC) for intelligent machines. From robot dogs to autonomous EVs, we enable open, decentralized autonomy—running in the real world.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to help scale the OpenMind developer ecosystem from the ground up. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between our product, documentation, and community—owning everything from onboarding flows to hackathon support.
What You’ll Do
Documentation & Dev Portal
- Maintain and evolve docs.openmind.org, keeping developer content up-to-date and legible
- Write integration guides, API references, onboarding walkthroughs, and sample projects for both OM1 and FABRIC
Developer & Client Onboarding
- Support teams integrating OM1 into their robots—ranging from startup partners to independent builders
- Assist enterprise clients and ecosystem partners onboarding into FABRIC for identity, relay, and data coordination
Community & Hackathons
- Design and run end-to-end hackathons (remote and in-person) to drive adoption
- Build example projects, starter kits, and infrastructure to help hackers move fast
Curriculum & Education
- Write and maintain structured learning materials (courses, tutorials, interactive guides) on how to build with OM1 and contribute to FABRIC
- Collaborate with university and community partners to support technical onboarding
You Might Be a Fit If You
- Are a strong technical writer with empathy for developers
- Have experience in product engineering or DevRel at an API, robotics, or Web3 infra company
- Are comfortable reading hardware specs, debugging ROS or Python apps, and working across systems
- Are energized by community events, teaching, and developer empowerment
Bonus Points
- Background in robotics, AI/ML infra, or decentralized systems
- Experience building demo apps or open-source projects
- Worked with identity or networking stacks (e.g. DID, libp2p, VPNs, relays)
