Frontend Engineer

FIAT DAO is the digital cooperative stewarding development of the FIAT protocol. FIAT, short for Fixed Income Asset Token, allows users to access leverage against their fixed income positions across DeFi.

We are looking for a senior frontend engineer ready to join our existing team as we introduce new functionality into the FIAT DAO app, consider new pathways for governance participation, integrate with third-party wallets, and optimize our mobile support.

You would be expected to perform the following responsibilities:

• Maintaining the UI as new collateral types are introduced


• Build out further app functionality as the protocol matures


• Ensure wallet connection integrity across common standards (e.g. Metamask, WalletConnect)


• Integrate cross-chain, mobile user flows


• Collaborate with design team on UI refinement

We are on the lookout for the following qualifications:

• Well versed with the web3 frontend stack (ethers.js, web3.js, subgraphs)


• Comfortable with React


• Experience with server-side hosting platforms (Vercel, Next.js)


• Previous experience working with on open source projects, preferably DeFi


• English fluency
