Senior Flutter Developer with Guru-Level Experience

The Eucalyptus Labs team is growing!

We are seeking a Senior Flutter Developer with Mobile app development experience to co-lead development of Koala Wallet in Flutter/Dart mainly for iOS and Android but also additional platforms. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of industry experience and at least 3-4 years of experience in Flutter cross-platform application development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-lead development of Koala Wallet in Flutter/Dart mainly for iOS and Android but also for additional platforms


• Implement new features in a test driven development fashion


• Communicate and coordinate with product managers


• Implement UI/UX features as defined by designers using best practices and modern standards


• Prioritize quality over quantity and making important decisions regarding avoiding technical debt

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise in Flutter, Dart, Android, and iOS development


• Exceptional test-driven development patterns


• Understanding engineering best practices


• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in software engineering


• At least 3-4 years of experience in Flutter development


• At least 3-4 years iOS/Android apps developed with Flutter, either deployed on the AppStore/Google Play or available on GitHub


• Comprehensive understanding of Flutter, Dart, Flutter for web and desktop (Windows, macOS), as well as Flutter UI and animations


• Proficiency in handling remote data via web services (REST and Websockets), push notifications, localisation, biometrics

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Cryptocurrencies, blockchains, wallets


• Ability to demonstrate design and UX sensibilities


• Expert level understanding and experience with Object Oriented Programming


• Passionate for learning and for new technologies, self motivated
