Solution Architect

We are looking for a Blockchain Solution Architect to provide technical support and acumen to our Business Solutions Team, educating our prospects and partners of the features and benefits of the Algorand platform and providing effective proposals and technical solutions for use cases, supervising their development from the design phase to the deployment.

This is an opportunity for someone who is genuinely excited by distributed systems, has a combination of technical and consultative skills, and has an interest and proven experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency and open source technologies.

Our Solution Architects:

• Reviews business and technical context of prospect and partner challenges. Highlights the requirements for the solution, recommends potential options, and helps select the optimal path to success


• Leverages their technical experience to consult with stakeholders in designing/creating/reviewing new solutions or porting existing solutions to Algorand


• Communicates the technical approach to the stakeholders clearly, and collaborates and coordinates with existing experts in the formalization, implementation, and adoption of the selected solution


• Provides clear cost and time analysis of the solution, including trade-offs among the different execution choices and incremental improvements to delivery


• Possesses a strong understanding of our company, our positioning, and our competition in the industry


• Follows the latest developments in blockchain and cryptocurrency and stays up-to-date on the ecosystem; understands solutions implemented on other blockchains and knows how to best leverage Algorand’s strengths


• Is a key part of an inclusive environment that fosters collaboration and creativity both internally and externally

Your Qualifications & Our Requirements:

• Proven understanding and experience in distributed systems, blockchain, and writing smart contracts


• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field required, PhD’s preferred


• 5-plus years of experience in product development and management or applied research


• Solid computer programming skills with demonstrated history of contributing to open source and/or blockchain projects


• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical information to diverse audiences and understand requirements, constraints and objectives


• Creative, approachable, energetic, “can-do” attitude with ability to change direction in a dynamic environment


• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner


• Working proficiency in written and spoken English
