Technical Community Manager

WalletConnect is the open-source web3 standard to connect blockchain wallets to dapps. Any wallet, any dapp, any chain. Starting in 2018, our mission is to make web3 accessible to everyone. Every month, millions of people use WalletConnect in over 300 integrations. We just raised our $11M Series A from USV, Coinbase and other leading investors, and are looking to grow.

The Role

We’re looking for a technical community manager to help drive wallet and dapp developer engagement for the WalletConnect protocol and educate our end-users about web3. The job includes the management of our Twitter, Discord, and Github channels, as well as playing a key role in events. In addition, you’ll be working closely with our communications, integrations, and engineering teams to focus on the right audience and message.

Responsibilities:

• Engaging Twitter, Discord, and Github channels and community, with a focus on developers


• Create engaging social content that is both developer and end-user focused


• Be able to answer community questions, speak with developers, and support integration partners


• Be the voice of our community to the internal team so we can improve based on feedback


• Help organize community events


• Identify and engage with ambassadors


• Measure the success of community efforts

Must have:

• Passion for web3 and crypto / Blockchain experience


• 2+ years in community management


• Excellent written English communication skills


• Expertise in Twitter and Discord

Nice to have:

• A user of WalletConnect


• Experience managing developer communities


• Strong Twitter presence and audience


• Knowledgeable about Github issues and discussions


• Discord moderation experience


• Passion for customer service


• Experience at events


• Experience as a software developer
