Position Summary

Native is looking for an experienced devops & system support engineer to join their technology team. This individual will ensure the smooth operation of trading platforms by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues. Collaborating with traders, they leverage financial market knowledge and technical expertise to maintain system reliability, optimize trading strategies, and facilitate uninterrupted trading activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support for trading desks running a proprietary cryptocurrencies trading system encompassing the entire front to back trading process


• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure the trading system operates 24 / 7


• Work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure the solution on the infrastructure meets best practices


• Monitor key system metrics and take pre-emptive actions to avoid production incidents


• Troubleshoot production issues and follow-up with the relevant departments until resolution


• Design and implement fixes and workarounds


• Liaise with application development team to address bug fixes and product enhancements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering


• Prior experience working in a (front office) trading system support role, preferably in a top-tier investment bank or hedge fund


• Strong in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Shell scripting, Python and SQL


• Strong in AWS (or major cloud platform), good knowledge in Security, Networking, and building global infra


• Experience with other technologies such as C++, React, JavaScript, Machine Learning, Big Data, Blockchain is a plus


• Must be able to work independently


• Good understanding of finance and trading concepts


• Excellent people skills and must be able to handle pressure


• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Loki, Grafana and Jira is a plus
