Fully Remote

Talisman is hiring a front-end developer that is crypto experienced or crypto curious, ideally a junior / mid level developer (at least 2+ years using react). We’re building a wallet and web app for the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem to store, manage, send funds and more!

Here are some reasons you may want to work with us:

✨ Beautiful product

We’re building a buttery smooth product for an emerging ecosystem (Polkadot) that has been sorely lacking a beautiful and easy to use wallet. We REALLY care about UX and making a silky and stunning piece of software. Give it a test and you’ll see what I mean.

Remote First

We are a small team (13) with people all over the world. That means we will always be remote first, you can work anywhere, forever. A few of us do live in Melbourne, Australia and we have a sweet office in the CBD. The majority of us work AEST hours, so ideally you would have some cross over with AEST 9am-5pm.

Open source

Our product is open source and audited. We believe in transparency with our work and contributing to the wider developer ecosystem.

❌✉️ No email (seriously)

We’re discord natives - all our chat, video calls and community engagement is via discord. Other than meeting invites, this means no email, ever.

No feature factories

We don’t do straight up agile. We’re using an interesting model pioneered by Basecamp called, Shape Up. The aim is to empower developers to collaborate and work on problems, not just be a feature factory. Any keyboard warriors also free time every month to do whatever they please.

Community focused

Being a crypto project on discord means we have also spent time building a community of like minded individuals that are excited about the Talisman wallet. We host weekly community calls to discuss progress and what we’re working on. Without community there is no product.
