Business Developer
Elk.Finance is looking for a full-time Business Developer. This individual would be responsible for creating and maintaining partnerships with other protocols under our Lead Business Developer. This role is a remote position with no-geographical restrictions.

Being a Team Member at Elk:
We are looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Business Development & Partner Account Manager to bring our business development strategy to new heights. The successful candidate will be familiar with the cryptocurrency market and would be excited to build awareness of Elk.Finance and increase adoption across various blockchains.

Your role will be varied and include some of the core ownership areas and various projects based on your talents, preferences, and Elk’s business needs. There is an opportunity to shape this role - Elk sets no limits! Some representative responsibilities and projects:
Responsibilities:
- Represent Elk.Finance in industry events and building partnerships with ecosystem participants.
- Participation in multiple weekly pre-scheduled meetings with the Elk.Finance team
- Grow the protocol, deepen relationships with existing crypto projects and acquire new partners.
- Presentations at events, community meet-ups, and developer gatherings.
- Develop new relationships with high-profile crypto projects, crypto venture capitalists, institutional investors, miners, and other parties of the crypto ecosystem.
- Work with various cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness in key markets.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure successful campaigns take place.
- Build and utilize connections with leading investment firms.
- Develop existing relationships with exchanges globally and bring Elk to the next level.
- Keep track of key launches and news in the crypto ecosystem and proactively identify areas of cooperation and business development opportunities.
Skill Requirements:
- 3+ years of business development or sales related work experience with a proven ability to work independently. Leadership experience preferred.
- Fluent in English, other languages are an asset.
- Familiarity with blockchain ecosystems.
- Attend sprint planning, weekly stand-up meetings, weekly Business Development meetings, as well as sprint retrospects.
- Experience in developing, planning, and executing successful company strategies.
- Experience in business development or any client-facing role (B2B sales, management consulting, investment banking, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, good ethics, and reliability.
- Quick to learn, and ability to think outside the box.
- Team player; able to communicate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Finish assigned tasks on time.
- Writing and presenting business proposals.
- Experience delivering business results - be ready to talk about numbers/quota and achievements.
- BSc/MSc in Business/Economics/Finance or any related degree preferred.
- Top tier MBA is preferred (or other proven ability to see the bigger picture, understand new functional areas quickly, have a cross-functional mindset).
- Familiar with Jira as well as Agile Scrum project management preferred.
- Experience in BD or similar roles facing institutional crypto, traditional institutional finance, blockchain projects is a significant advantage.
- Basic ability to write social media announcements, blogs, and other content.
