The overnight success of games such as Axie Infinity and the unparalleled growth of the NFT sector have redefined what the gaming industry model is about. Play-to-earn economy is booming and it is driving a phenomenal growth of the NFT assets available to players and investors alike. Oasis’ ambition is to get the play-to-earn economy on steroids by allowing gamers and investors to lend their NFT to other players/investors in the most secure possible way. To do that, Oasis is building the first, global decentralized NFT lending platform for blockchain/play-to-earn games.


Founded by two successful tech serial entrepreneurs, Oasis has already secured a £1.5M pre-seed round with Pascal Gauthier, CEO of Ledger and has some notorious gaming and metaverse key advisors on board such as Sébastien Borget, co-founder of the Sandbox amongst others. With numerous deals and conversations with major games under way, Oasis is off to a staggering start and is looking to grow its team rapidly.


We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in the UK, to help us create a new generation of Web3 platform, allowing access to millions of gamers to the magic of web3 games, as well as lowering the management time of utility NFT to 0.


Responsibilities



  • As a Full stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and exposing micro)services through APIs.

  • Integrate with different backend solutions, Databases, Blockchains.

  • Align with the team on the API exposed by our backends.

  • Align with team members on smart contracts integration.

  • As part of the agile development team, you will participate in agile ceremonies, clarifying tasks and blocking points.

  • Web3 is a fast paced industry where new tools are out everyday. It is important to have an eye on them and suggest improvements to your solutions.

  • Take ownership of technical solutions you have implemented.

  • Ensure quality code by testing, following standards, design patterns and best practices. Contribute to internal standards and processes.


Requirements



  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

  • Are confident with one or more languages like Java, Go, Python, PHP, Ruby, Rust. JavaScript, etc.

  • Experience with Web3 libraries. Smart Contract interaction via web3 lib, go-ethereum, web3j. We will be integrating with Ethereum, Solana and other blockchains

  • Experience in using any backend frameworks, such as Spring Boot, Gin, etc.

  • Some Experience in using any frontend framework, such as React, Angular, Vue.

  • Experience working in any Agile, Scrum.

  • Experience in building scalable API, in either REST or GraphQL.

  • Experience in making architectural software decisions.

  • Experience in developing code with security first approach.

  • Experience with NoSQL or SQL DB.

  • Experience designing and deploying Cloud services (we use Amazon AWS)


Is a plus if:



  • Interest about industry vulnerabilities exploits.

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and dev(sec)ops pipelines.

  • AB testing
