Job description
Senior Blockchain Developer
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year

We're looking for a Senior Blockchain Developer who can take ownership of critical systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and help us build secure, scalable blockchain applications used by thousands of users.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts for production blockchain applications.
- Build and integrate decentralized applications (dApps) across frontend, backend, and blockchain layers.
- Architect scalable solutions for DeFi, tokenization, and Web3 platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new features from concept to launch.
- Review code, mentor team members, and help establish engineering best practices.
- Optimize smart contract performance, gas efficiency, and security.
- Participate in technical planning, system design, and roadmap discussions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems when needed.
- Stay current with blockchain technologies, protocols, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on blockchain development experience.
- Strong expertise in Solidity and smart contract development.
- Experience building applications on Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Node.js and backend API development.
- Experience working with React and modern Web3 frameworks.
- Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, wallet integrations, transactions, and token standards.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployment environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building DeFi protocols, DEXs, lending platforms, or staking systems.
- Familiarity with Layer 2 networks and cross-chain technologies.
- Experience with smart contract auditing and blockchain security practices.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with blockchain indexing solutions and event-driven architectures.
- Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
- Previous startup experience is highly valued.
