Who We Are

Carapace is building decentralized protection against default risk in unsecured crypto loans (aka. credit default swaps). Our aim is to be the biggest credit risk protection protocol in DeFi, starting with default risk.

We’re a globally distributed team of builders with a mission to build healthy financial services for all. We were founded within the South Park Commons program, and backed by world-class VCs and angels. We will announce the details shortly.

Carapace is looking for a senior full-stack blockchain engineer to join our core engineering team and own significant components of our backend and frontend systems. You will have autonomy to design, build, and scale our system.

Responsibilities

• Smart contract development - you will design, develop, test, and ship backend features.


• Dapp development - you will design, develop, test, and ship new frontend features.


• Interacting with users - you will be interacting with and support our community of users through our documentation, blog and discord server.

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience with building a DeFi protocol in production


• Good understanding of finance, especially the credit industry


• Good understanding of DeFi protocols

Requirements

• 3-5+ years software engineering experience


• Experience in Solidity and Typescript


• Understanding of blockchain technology
