Working in the DeFi team


We are looking for a Trading DevSecOps Engineer to join our team to help us manage and monitor the systems that drive our programmatic on-chain searching. This unique role offers a hybrid exposure to both traditional DevSecOps processes and market facing activities.


We pride ourselves on running a tight knit and collaborative team and so you can expect to work alongside both developers and traders to learn about the business and streamline processes.


Examples of activities that you would work on in the day to day would include:



  • Monitoring, upgrading and securing our blockchain node infrastructure

  • Optimising and formalising deployment pipelines

  • Responding to and resolving trading alerts in the production environment

  • Implementing lightweight microservices to support the trading infrastructure


Requirements



  • Comfortable working on Linux environments and Git version control

  • Knowledge and experience with mainstream cloud infrastructure service providers

  • Worked with tooling such as Grafana and Docker  

  • Able to script and implement small features in Python or Go

  • Experience reviewing and implementing best security practices, either on or off chain

  • Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and interest in learning about DeFi trading
