Role Overview
We’re looking for a driven, creative and analytical individual to lead Business Development at Housecat. Your focus will be finding and selling our product to existing and new asset managers and crypto investors. This involves finding, contacting, pitching Housecat and getting asset managers and investors excited to join the Housecat platform. Succeeding in your role won’t just get the best asset managers to join Housecat platform but it also opens up new opportunities for our business and informs our product road map as well as product development efforts.
You Are
- Strategic thinker who can operate independently and navigate her way in the crypto space.
- Are comfortable with direct sales as well as with independent research.
- Organized & detail oriented smart generalist who can keep trains running on time and leaves no stone left unturned.
- Strong ability to “altitude shift” - zoom out for high level strategic thinking, then zoom back in to ruthlessly prioritize and execute.
- Proactive, can handle ambiguity, and doesn’t need to be micromanaged.
- Positive-sum & low-ego team player.
- You get the startup grind and can be left to work autonomously.
- Could be just out of college or 15 years out of college.
What you will do
- Find the best asset managers in crypto and convince them to join Housecat platform.
- Build relationships with the best crypto investors and asset managers to tell them about our offering.
- Work to understand the current and future needs of potential asset managers and how our protocol can best serve them.
- Work together with our product team to deliver key features to improve tools we offer to asset managers.
- Visit industry conferences and events when you think it makes sense.

- We’re an early stage startup. Projects and priorities are likely to shift.
- Everyone on the team is extremely mission-driven, and works incredibly hard to push towards our lofty ambitions. Most people won’t be cut out for it.
- You should be comfortable with just a dash of chaos. This is not the kind of job where you show up and we tell you exactly what to do every day.

Our team works mainly in Helsinki but has contributors and partners across the globe.
