Crypto tax is complex. Talking about it shouldn’t feel like corporate PR. Our audience  is crypto-native, technically minded, and live on Crypto Twitter. We’re building the ultimate  crypto tax platform and we need a Social Media and Community Manager who can lead the conversation, bridge technical depth with genuine culture, and cut through the noise. 

**The Role
**

Not a scheduler. Not a corporate broadcaster.

We’re looking for a commentator and thread-weaver who lives in internet culture, creates memes/graphics independently, and wants to be the sharp, authentic voice of the leading crypto tax platform.. A native participant and community builder who knows how to turn dry tax tech into unmissable internet content.

As our Social Media & Community Manager, you will own Koinly’s social media presence and community voice across X/Twitter, Reddit, and beyond. No 5-tier corporate approval chains holding you back; if something moves on CT, you jump on it. 

**What You’ll Do
**

• Own the persona: Working within the brand framework and style guides set by our Content Lead, you own the Koinly persona on the ground: bringing a witty, distinct, and accurate voice to every platform without needing post-by-post sign-off. 


• Create high-signal content: Write threads, build memes, and design quick graphics independently—no waiting on a design team.


• Live in the replies: Jump into subreddits, quote tweets, and crypto discussions as an active participant.


• Lead the conversation: Drop memes and commentary instantly when breaking crypto and tax regulatory news or viral moments hit.


• Repurpose the content engine: Adapt blogs, YouTube deep dives, and product updates into bite-sized, platform-native content.

**This Role is a Fit If...

• You’re chronically online: You live on Crypto Twitter, Reddit, or Discord and understand internet subcultures, gaming, memes, and crypto lore. You know the difference between posting for an audience and participating with them..


• You speak crypto: You get DeFi, staking, L2s, and on-chain activity (bonus points if you've filed crypto taxes).


• You’re speed-first: You know how to react to news as it happens and whip up a fire meme within 10 minutes without asking for permission (or waiting for a scheduled content calendar).


• Sharp, opinionated & platform fluent: You hate hedged, playing-it-safe corporate copy and naturally tailor tone per channel—what slaps on X won't land the same on Reddit or LinkedIn. 


• Visually resourceful: You don't need a dedicated designer to push out a quick meme or carousel but you can whip up basic graphics using lightweight tools on the fly.


• You thrive async: You prefer total autonomy over being handed a micromanaged calendar.
